The reason to go is that the compilation of this unique art streaming will be hard to find somewhere else due to it’s special history under the communist regime. It is only recently that the appreciation and interest of this art form has started and have become aware to the public eye. It was Stalin himself, who after the death of Lenin basically imposed this realism art form with the objective to make art towards the appreciation of the Russian worker and was often used as a tool of propaganda.

It showed the daily optimistic life of communism between 1930 untill the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991 and therefor has something truly unique to experience for the visitor not often seen in European museums.
